Cemented on resin abutment

The medical device is obtained in two portions: the coronal portion, made according to the post shaping protocols, (armed and polyamide reinforcing one) and the implant one, made in Polymethylmetacrylate on the lab analog.

The production of this temporary element is developed using CAD tecnologies for the planning and virtual design phase, and CAM processes for the milling phase.

The plan of both the abutment and the coronal part is coming from the virtual waxing up. The abutment is designed on the lab analog following the specific datas of each implant company. The coronal temporary unit is obtained with reverse engineering following the shape of the abutment.
Both parts, the coronal and implant one, are developed by milling a polymerised pressed industrial made resin. PMMA so treated is much more reliable in terms of flexing and liquid absorbing, than the lab made resin. This procedure can be developed using also a metal or polyammide reinforcing structure.

Computer design and milling procedures are the same as the one adopted for the realization of the final understructures. The morphology of the connection is not realised scanning the lab analog, but using the data inside C-ORALIA’s software. This protocol guarantees the precision of the connection. THE MARGINAL ADJUSTMENT IS MADE IN PMMA.

This temporary can be used moreover in implant cases where a high esthetic is needed. The abutment is in aryl resin so can be modified to reach the best morphology. the coronal part is perfectly rebasable.

PMMA blocks are industrial prefabbricated according to 3 kind of cromatic gradients: Bright for A1-A2- B1-B2 colours, Middle for A3 e B3 colours and Heavy for A4-B4-C4 colours. The stratifications does not reach the level of individualization of pre shaping temporary element obtained using the flasking technic.
